Samsung apologizes to Chinese consumers for handset flaws

Samsung gone out and apology to Chinese consumers on Wednesday then China's state-run media remark the Korean electronics giant for marketing handsets along with allegedly faulty memory chips.
The company given to provide on cost repairs & expanded warranties on seven models then a broadcast on the influential China Central Television on Tuesday noted how Samsung handsets, which include the Galaxy S & Galaxy Note series, crash many times a day due to the memory chips.The report mentioned the issue is often resolved with a $100 chip upgrade which was not covered under recent warranties.

In a statement submitted to Samsung's
China Internet site, the electronics giant for the disadvantage, that is blamed on 'administration problems'. Additionally, is pledged to repair damaged devices, refunds upon previously repaired devices and replacing handsets in most cases.
Samsung isn't the new technology company going to come under CCTV scrutiny to its warranty practices. Within April, Apple CEO Cook issued apology above its warranty policies within China & determined increased services then a report on the station. The primary report demand Apple repaired only broken or elsewhere defective parts in its products for customers in China, vs providing new placements in other countries.

Samsung publishes record revenue in its newest income statement

Samsung has published its Q3 2013 income statement. As estimated, the Korean giant submitted record-breaking earnings which marginally surpassed the guidance from earlier this month.

Samsung published combined operating revenue of 10.16 trillion gained (roughly $9.56 billion) from 59.08 trillion gained (roughly $55.59 billion) of revenue. The revenue of Samsung  arrived 7% greater than the earlier quarter and an outstanding 26% over the similar period a year ago.
Not surprisingly, the mobile division chipped in substantially to the revenue. Its increase was influenced by enhanced sales of mass-market, lower-cost models. High-end devices’ shipments have stayed at very similar level with the past quarter.

Samsung tablets have performed well within the previous quarter too. Their shipments have elevated drastically thanks to extended product lineups.
 Up coming quarter view of Samsung  for its mobile section is hopeful. This  company desires constant growth for either  tablets and smartphones  thanks to improved demand from customers throughout the holiday period.
