As a few of you may know, Motorola even sells and unlocked version of this Moto X in the US. The Developer version, while it is called, comes with a network unlock and also an unlocked boot loader helping you to use any GMS SIM while using phone or install a latest costom ROM.

The unlocked edition was basically offered for sale at a steep $649.99 yet Motorola has seen fit to drop the cost by a $100 bringing it underneath to a much more palatable $549.99. Specification-wise, the Developer Edition is identical towards carrier locked version. You will get the same 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED present, 10 megapixel camera, Motorola's X8 Mobile computing System, with a Snapdragon S4 SoC that has a dedicated natural language in addition to contextual computing processor, 2GB GOOD OLD RAM, 32GB store space, 2200mAh power supply and Android 4.3.2 Jelly Bean. The DE comes in a special paper color combination.
